D I Y   M E T A L   T O E   B O O T S

Heute zeige ich euch, wie ihr diese Metal Toe Boots selber macht.

Alles was ihr braucht:

1 Paar Boots in der Farbe eurer Wahl

Tesafilm oder Isolierband

1 Spraydose Haftvermittler (gibt es im Baumarkt)

1 Spraydose Silber oder eine Farbe eurer Wahl (gibt es im Baumarkt)

Plastitktüten

 

Today I show you how to do these metal toe Boots all by yourself.

All you need ist:

1 pair of boots in your favorite color

tape

1 spray adhesion promoter

1 silver spray or another color

plastic bags

Als erstes klebt ihr beide Spitzen gleichmäßig mit Tesafilm ab.

 

First you need to place the tape at the toe caps

Jetzt müsst ihr die Sohle ein Stück ankleben, damit diese schön schwarz bleiben

 

Now you need to tape the bottom of the boots so it will stay black in the end

 

Im nächsten Schritt zieht ihr eine Plastiktüte über den Schuh, sodass dieser vor dem Spray geschützt ist und fixiert sie mit Tesafilm

 

In the next step you pull a plastic bag over the boot, so it will be protected from the sray and fix it with tape.

 

 

So sieht der Schuhe vor dem Sprühen von unten aus

 

This is how the shoe sole  must look before you start to spray

 

Jetzt beginnt endlich der Spaßige Teil. Zuerst den Haftvermittler aufsprühen und ca 2h trockenen lasse. 

 

Now let's do the fun part. Spray the adhesion Promoter on the cap and wait for 2 hours.

 

Jetzt sprühst du eine Schicht silber auf die Spizte und lässt den Schuhe eine Stunde trocknen. Ich habe insgesamt 3 dünne Schichten gesprüht. Nach der letzten Schicht lasst ihr die Boots über Nacht gut durchtrocknen.

 

Now you spray on a thin silver layer on the cap of your boot. Afterwards you wait for 1 hour an start the next layer. I sprayed 3 layers in total. After you sprayed for the last time, you leave the boots alone for a night.

 Der letze Schritt: ganz vorsichtig das Tesafilm abziehen, die Plastiktüte abstülpen und FERTIG

 PS: kleine Fehler könnt ihr mit einem Q Tip und Nagellackentferner ganz einfach korrigieren.

The last step is very easy just remove the tape carefully and throw away the plastic bag now you are READY

PS: little mistakes can be easily removed with a Q Tip and nail polish remover.
